About the Author

Joy K. Harris is a 14-year-old middle school student who was born in Baltimore, Maryland, and now lives in Georgia. She loves basketball, fashion, and braiding hair, but most of all, she loves inspiring other teens to believe in themselves.

Joy wrote Jus Be Great to remind young people that they’re not alone and that greatness isn’t about what you have, it’s about who you are and how you treat others.
